Featuring panoramic vistas of the downtown Miami skyline, including the iconic Freedom Tower, Tuyo is available seven days a week for both day and evening events.

Lunch or dinner: Up to 80 guests

Food and Wine Demonstration Theater

Housed on the third floor of our LEED-certified Institute, the state-of-the-art demonstration theater features chic design and dynamic lighting to set the perfect stage for your private event. Cooking or wine demonstration for up to 50 guests. The Demonstration Theater also features advanced audio visual technology, enabling real time video conferencing to anywhere in the world and providing equipment for video presentations. Doubling as a high definition TV studio, the theater boasts:

  • Wireless Internet
  • Remote-controlled cameras
  • Audio suite
  • Editing suite capable of DVD production
  • Skype and PowerPoint capability

The chef will demonstrate and prepare a single dish for guests, with a small tasting included.

Demonstration Theater fee: $500-$1,000*
Chef fee: $250

Plus per person tasting fee (maximum of 50 people)

Wine Demonstrations

Tasting includes a flight of several varieties of wines

Demonstration Theater fee: $500-$1,000*
Sommelier fee: $200 (plus a per person fee that varies based on the event, maximum of 50 people)

Hands-On Cooking

Menus will be created according to guest preferences, including choices such as Caribbean and seafood dishes and pastries. Each guest will prepare one dish with the assistance of our chef.

Culinary Lab rental fee: $500
Chef fee: $250 per chef per culinary lab
Cleanup/setup fee: $100*

*Plus $35 per person for food costs (maximum of 20 people per culinary lab classroom)


Mystery Basket Competition

Culinary Lab rental fee: $500
Chef fee: $250 per chef per culinary lab
Cleanup/setup fee: $100, plus $35 per person food cost (maximum of 20 people per culinary lab classroom)

Culinary Labs

You’ll feel like a professional chef inside one of the impressive classrooms found throughout the eight-story MCI building. Each classroom features top-of-the-line equipment and systems that reflect the Institute’s focus on sustainability. Our culinary teaching kitchens can accommodate a variety of groups for hands-on cooking and team-building events of up to 100 guests.
