Born in the Bronx, NY and raised in Milford, PA, Chef Peter Fred learned to cook by helping his great grandmother in the kitchen. He began his career from the ground up, washing dishes for his first restaurant job at age 14. By 15, he was making cold dishes at a fine dining American/French restaurant.
Chef Fred attended the Culinary Institute of America in New York after high school and graduated in 2010. Since then, he has traveled the world developing unique menus and memorable dishes. He has worked at various influential restaurants across the country, including Café des Amis in San Francisco and Natirar 90 acres in Peapack, NJ., a farm-to-table approach. In Miami, he was Executive Chef at Café Roval and Sous Chef at Toscana Divino, Alter and Fi'lia by Michael Shwartz. .
